Frank Parise and Skip Thomas were both on hand to run event together at Gingerman. Frank was running well as usual, and Skip's Roadster showed continued improvement working with his newly redone Michelin/AutoForms RT/10.

SVSi was busy all weekend getting the set up on the WHTKAOS RT/10 just right for Gingerman, and with great success. Junior had a new Carbon Fiber Racing hood on his Pro Roadster.

Rand Watkins was on hand driving the wicked GTSR-GT1 Viper.  A real piece of endurance racing history here.  The GTSR weighs in @ 2,500 lbs, with a reported 725 HP on tap. Rand was able to achieve a best lap time of 1.27.685.  Niel Hannemann made a cameo appearance at Gingerman, and pulled off a scorching 1.21.772 lap time for the hottest time of the event.

Full Carbon Fiber everywhere on this car, among many other race features. Full tubalar chassis and huge 15" Brembo brakes.  The V-10 that the McCann boys were running emitted a sound of bigger cubic inches and higher RPM's than any other V-10 at the track.  This car is 1 of 2 original GT1 Vipers left in the world. Note the full race pnuematic chassis jacks.

The Mallet Corvette guys were there with some potent C5's. Here is the supercharged Mallet C5 driven by Jim Minneker.

Mallet 435 C5. Also a very strong contender for the Viper/Vette war. The Mallet boys were busy in their pits all weekend. (...They also play some great jams after hours, with one of the C5's packing a great sounding stereo with some wattage output-)

Chris Barone was in from New Jersey with his SVS equipped, shark toothed GTS #44. Chris had the third best lap time of Saturday's practice.
