The Race Season finally kicked off Saturday night, Nov. 24. The first race brought a rookie in from Kentucky. After about an hour of practice, he
was right there with us the rest of night. It was great. A perfect example of the reality of this hobby. New guys. He fit right since we were short handed. It was a blast all night. Once again Eddie took the podium.
;-)Later on we had a little one-on-one with Eddies G2, and Rob's P2EHS. (I was just making sure it stayed lubed...he-he... Hi Rob) I took the G2
for the most part, but I was using a 25 gun, and Eddie was able to lead a few laps with a 45 gun. I clicked off a 4.69 while Eddie was in the 4.80 range. That's fast for 83 feet of plastic track and 6 or 7 Bud Lights.
The G2 still holds the previous record of 4.29. And Eddie holds the old previous all time Lap Speed Record of 4.45: |
