We currently use a Sony Video Camera for our web cam.  The video signal is sent through a long RCA cable to a Dazzle Video Capture box on my office work station.  The video capture unit is piped in through a USB port.  You can also use a PC cam for this.  We may eventually move to a wireless mini-cam with a mobile mounting system, enabling various views of HO Racing from around the track.  This web cam set up can be accomplished by most anyone*.  The web cam software is FREE!  There is no need for a dedicated server.  (*Cable Internet access is suggested for larger video  file size transfer)
