Marziale and Allen battled endlessly for second place.  The best action was on the last infield turns and the high banks following.  Here Marziale takes the lead over Allen, only to have Allen all over his rear bumper.  Marziale did his best keep his lead as Allen dove high and low to get the position back.  The racing was fantastic!

As he ducked inside, he caught the curb inside of the turn, forcing his GTS to nearly slide into Allen.  It looked very close through my lense!  This racing was HOT!!  Muzzy collected the back end and miraculously saved his pace.

Muzzy was able to take second from Allen into the banks, and held him off briefly before his car developed more mechanical problems, and forced him to retire at the upcoming red flag stop.  Meanwhile Bob Woodhouse kept a steady pace on his own in the lead.

Junior was pushing up from 4th as Muzzy and Allen battled.  The battle between Muzzy and Allen allowed Junoir to gain time on the two.  Now that Muzzy was out of the way, Junior charged hard on Allen.  The next wicked battle began.  Junior eventually outcornered Allen breifly for the lead.

Here they fly into the last turn and into the long straightaway.  It was a drag race all the way down the straight.
